35 Ealing Road was first built as St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in 1904 to designs by Thomas Collcutt and Stanley Hamp.

The church closed in 1982 due to a dwindling congregation and financial difficulties.

It continued in use as a Christian Church by the Congregation of the First Born, a West Indian church that had previously met in the church’s hall since 1978.

The building was purchased in 1992 by the Muslim Welfare Association, later Central Mosque Wembley, and the building was repurposed for use as a mosque.
