Sustainability Principles 1

To quote Jonathan Falkingham, “Sustainability is a broad church.” This lesson is the first of two lessons that lays the foundation for definitions of sustainability through diverse environmental, cultural, social, and economic contexts. This first lesson will focus on environmental principles of sustainability, including land use, energy use, materiality, and life cycling. It will also introduce principles for economic sustainability considerations.
